Run for Town Council

Are you passionate about Gander’s future? Running for Town Council is your opportunity to represent your neighbours, contribute to important decisions, and help shape the direction of our community.

If you’re a Canadian citizen, at least 18 years old, and have lived in Gander for at least 30 days before nomination day, you’re eligible to run.

Nomination Period: September 2-4, 2025
Positions Available: Mayor (1) and Councillor (6)

Proven ability to deal effectively with the public
Preference will be given to applicants with prior experience in election processes
